Mother Earth Sportweight Alpaca Yarn

Using our Mother Earth sport weight yarn dyed with earth friendly low impact dyes is a great way to create beautiful and sustainable projects. Alpaca and merino are both soft and warm fibers that work well for a variety of projects, from cozy hats and scarves to lightweight sweaters and shawls.
By choosing a yarn that is dyed with low impact dyes, you can ensure that your project is environmentally friendly and free from harmful chemicals. Fawn, brown, cream and charcoal are undyed. Bold colors are created using Low Impact Acid dyes. All of the dye used bond with the protein fibers so there is no residual dye left in the water. Low impact dyes are eco-friendly dyes.
