Alpaca Crew Work Socks

Bought a six pack so far I’m not sure how to feel about these socks, their diffidently soft so much so I’m worried about longevity are they going to be tough enough to las, I’m wearing my second set and they already have a small group of loose threads I fear if I trim the threads or pull on them it will leave a hole only wore them once..

I’ll update if anything changes..

I purchased these socks to hike in Glacier National Park. I had hiked Iceberg Lake 15 years ago and wanted to try to hike it again (no, I’m not an avid hiker and my training for this trip was interrupted by health issues).

I bought these as an alternative route to my Amazon addiction. Why not support local businesses instead of the richest man in the world? Google directed me to these folks and these socks. I ordered just one pair to try them out. I've worn them for 2 weeks without washing. Ewwwww.....not. I've sniffed them daily and they smell the same as the day I put them on. I've worn them in 75ºF heat and my feet didn't feel hot and the socks stayed dry. I wore them in heavy work boots in my uncooled woodshop at 84ºF heat and no wet socks. I like how it feels like I walk on carpet when wearing them around hardwood floors. I like how the thick socks compress when I put my shoes on. I like how the elasticity is just right without leaving any skin indentation but enough not to slip off my feet. I see 8 more pairs in my future.

I cannot say enough good things about these socks! They are the warmest socks you could wear in this bitter Northeast cold, they stay dry even if you sweat in them for days. You literally can wear them for days and they don't smell (strangely, but I don't ask questions). I have hiked through the snow in them for short distances like makeshift boots. I wear them like slippers and every day socks. I work in property management and I give all of our in-office and onsite staff a pair every Christmas. I have gotten pictures of some of these socks, worn almost every day of the year, still holding up beautifully. I have certain employees who I am sure only stick around so they can get another pair of socks every year. Most of the partners / wifes / significant others of these workers steal their socks, so many years I have to give out multiples. They keep my team toasty during snowplow / shoveling season and comfortable for long work days. I give them to family and everyone from the executives of Manhattan to the stay-at-home-moms wear these socks regularly. Thank you so much for these socks.
