I bought my first hat a year or so ago. For the first time I've a hat that keeps my ears as well as head warm. It's roomy enough to tuck hair in if desired and doesn't leave me with helmet head. The hat is soft, well made and a pleasure to have. Last winter I bought the same hat in two more colors and another to give as a gift.

I purchased these socks to hike in Glacier National Park. I had hiked Iceberg Lake 15 years ago and wanted to try to hike it again (no, I’m not an avid hiker and my training for this trip was interrupted by health issues).

I bought these as an alternative route to my Amazon addiction. Why not support local businesses instead of the richest man in the world? Google directed me to these folks and these socks. I ordered just one pair to try them out. I've worn them for 2 weeks without washing. Ewwwww.....not. I've sniffed them daily and they smell the same as the day I put them on. I've worn them in 75ºF heat and my feet didn't feel hot and the socks stayed dry. I wore them in heavy work boots in my uncooled woodshop at 84ºF heat and no wet socks. I like how it feels like I walk on carpet when wearing them around hardwood floors. I like how the thick socks compress when I put my shoes on. I like how the elasticity is just right without leaving any skin indentation but enough not to slip off my feet. I see 8 more pairs in my future.

The first time I put on the Penguin bootie socks I was in heaven. These are thick and have much cushioned fabric. My feet are surrounded with plush warmth. These are my new favorite socks. The Alpaca fibers don’t smell bad after multiple wears and the build quality is great. 5 stars all day long. 😁
